Sheriff: 2 Suspects Robbed Chanhassen Subway

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Carver County Sheriff's Office has released surveillance images in the armed robbery of a Subway Restaurant in Chanhassen with hopes someone will recognize the two suspects.

On Thursday at 7:49 p.m., deputies responded to a reported armed robbery at the restaurant located on 7860 Century Blvd. There, deputies learned that two men entered the restaurant earlier, demanded cash from the register and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.

One of the suspects is described as a 6-foot "husky" black man wearing a black beanie hat and scarf covering his face, also wearing a dark-colored puffy down jacket and dirty white colored shoes. He had a deep voice and appeared to be in his early-20s.

The other suspect is described as a 6-foot-1 "tall and thin" black man wearing a black trench coat, black skinny jeans and white skateboard-style shoes. His face was also covered similarly and is believed to be in his early-20s.
