Sheriff: 1 Arrested, 1 At Large In Crow Wing County Cabin Burglary
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One suspect has been arrested but another remains at large after the two were spotted burglarizing a cabin in northern Minnesota, according to the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities were called by the cabin's owner at about 8:30 p.m. Monday. The owner has an in-home surveillance system at the cabin and was watching live footage of two men who had broken in and were inside.
Officers from Crosslake and Breezy Point responded to the residence along with the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office. The suspects fled the scene before authorities arrived. Sheriff's deputies were able to identify the suspects through evidence and video footage as two men from St. Paul.
With help from the St. Paul Police Department, one of the suspects was located and arrested. The second suspect has not been found and authorities said he is actively being sought.
