Sever's Now Serving Up Fall Pumpkins & Apples
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It's been hard lately not to notice the bite of fall in the air most mornings and evenings, which means that it's time to start thinking about fall festivities.
One place that's open for business and ready to supply all your autumnal demands is Sever's in Shakopee. Aaron and Nicola Peterson of Sever's dropped by WCCO This Morning to share some SweeTango apples with Jamie Yuccas and Jason DeRusha.
SweeTango apples were developed at the University of Minnesota and have been on the market for the last five years. Many say the apples have a juicy, flavorful snap.
There are also roughly 6,000 pumpkins at Sever's this year, some of which are used for the pumpkin-launching blasters.
The fall festival also includes live animals, music, food and a giant corn pit.
And, of course, there is their world famous (or at least Minnesota famous) corn maze.
Tickets are available for Sever's, and if you purchase them online, you can save yourself a dollar.
