Park, splash pad in Sauk Rapids closed due to criminal investigation

SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. — A park and splash pad in Sauk Rapids are closed Sunday due to an "active criminal investigation," police said.

The Sauk Rapids Police Department did not share details of the investigation at Lions Park, but said it expects the park and splash pad to reopen on Monday.
