Rubio Unsure When He'll Be Back From Ankle Sprain
MINNAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Ricky Rubio met with reporters for the first time since his injury almost two weeks ago.
Rubio suffered a sprained ankle during a game against the Orlando Magic after landing awkwardly on a drive to the basket with 2:28 left in the second quarter.
He said he's not sure when he'll be able to return to the game.
"No idea because we are going week to week. It depends on the swelling. If we see it going down we can go forward," Rubio said
He said it's frustrating to watch the game from the sidelines.
"Especially when they have had some tough games on the road," he said. "Last night's win made me feel better."
His family is coming to town for the holidays and he hopes to be able to be playing by then.
