Several Major Roads Closed In North, West Metro

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A heads up to drivers in the west metro! Parts of Interstate 494 and Highway 100 will be closed this weekend.
I-494 will be closed between Interstate 394 and Interstate 694 beginning Friday night.
Crews need to safely switch all traffic to the southbound lanes for construction. Drivers will run into detours and ramp closures on between I-394 in Minnetonka and I-694 in Maple Grove.
Part of Highway 100 is also closing this weekend.
The road will be closed from I-394 to Highway 62 starting at 9 p.m. Friday and going through early Monday morning.
