Minneapolis To Close Several Streets For Vikings Game
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Several streets will be closed in downtown Minneapolis Sunday in preparation for the Minnesota Vikings' game at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Beginning at 5 a.m., the city of Minneapolis will close Chicago Avenue from Fourth Street to Sixth Street.
At 9 a.m., the city will close Fourth Street from Park Avenue to Interstate 35W, and Norm McGrew Place from Third Street to Fourth Street.
City officials said the street closings are for traffic and safety needs.
All streets will reopen one hour after the game is over.
