Road Closures Planned Near Downtown Minneapolis Next Week
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Drivers near downtown Minneapolis may need to find a few ways around town amid highway road closures next week.
According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, access from southbound Interstate 35W to either southbound Highway 55 or westbound Interstate 94 will be unavailable for a period of time.
The closures begin late Monday at 11:30 p.m., but will only be in place for about six hours.
Crews in the area are working to set up beams for the new bridge for westbound Interstate 94 and the ramp to Seventh Street.
Further lane and ramp closures will occur in that area through Dec. 12, MnDOT said.
