Report: Child, 1, In Critical Condition After Being Found In Tub Of Water
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 1-year-old boy from southeastern Minnesota is in critical condition after being found into a tub of shallow water.
The incident happened Wednesday morning in Dover, on the 400 block of East Eyota Street, KIMT reports.
The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office said that when officers arrived at the scene, the boy's mother was performing CPR on the child, who was later airlifted to the Mayo Clinic.
An investigation showed that the child was found in about six inches of water, in a tub the family's children used to clean their feet when coming inside.
The incident remains under investigation, the report said. The family is cooperating.
