Conflicting Reports Over Death Of Other Zimbabwe Lion
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – There were conflicting reports over whether Cecil the lion's companion Jericho was also illegally killed, according to CBS News.
CBS initally reported that the lion was killed Saturday in Hwange National Park, but one researcher told the news organization that he believes Jericho is "alive and well," according to readings from the animal's satellite collar.
The Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force said in a Facebook post that lion is indeed dead.
"We are absolutely heart broken," the post reads.
