Recipe: Red Cow Mulled Wine

Red Cow Mulled Wine

1 bottle dry red wine (Cabernet or Zinfandel)
1 can Sociable Cider Werks Hop-a-Wheelie
1/4 cup (60mls) Copper & Kings unaged apple brandy
1/3 cup (100g) honey
1 lemon cut into wheels
1 orange cut into wheels
1 cup frozen cranberries

Mulling Spices in a tea bag
1 cinnamon stick
1 star anise
3 cloves
1T (5g) cocoa nibs

Place all ingredients in a crockpot on high for 30 minutes. Reduce to the warm setting. Remove spice bag when you have reached desired level of seasoning (about 30 more minutes).

Ladle and serve with cranberries and citrus as garnish.
