Private Memorial Service For Prince Held At Paisley Park

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Prince's family and friends came together Saturday afternoon for a memorial service in Chanhassen -- four months after his death.

Fans gathered outside the late artist's Paisley Park residence during the private service.

His family announced last month that a tribute concert is planned for Oct. 13 at the new U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis.

Performers for the concert will be announced soon, and tickets will go on sale later this month.

Prince died in April from an accidental overdose of painkillers.
