Prince's Colleagues, Employees Gather For Celebration Of Star's Life

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Saturday night, more than 200 of Prince's colleagues and employees celebrated the superstar and the role he played in their lives.

They gathered at the Machine Shop in northeast Minneapolis. There were a few musical performances and a video montage.

Prince's colleagues, from engineers to musicians, producers and managers were all there.

Prince died in April at his Paisley Park home. His death was ruled an accidental opioid overdose.

A criminal investigation into his death is being led by the Carver County Sheriff's Office.
