Prince To Live Stream Concert For Baltimore

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The unrest in Baltimore has inspired Prince to write a new song.

On Sunday at 8:00 p.m., he's holding a "Rally for Peace" there to show his support, and he's live streaming the audio of the concert for free.

Riots and protests broke out after the death of Freddie Gray, in police custody. Prosecutors have since filed charges against six officers.

Prince says he wants the show to be a "catalyst for pause and reflection," so he's making the concert available for free on through the new music streaming service, Tidal.

He recently wrote a song about the protests and the city called, "Baltimore," which he released on Soundcloud Saturday.

To hear the live stream, you'll have to subscribe for a 30-day trial of Tidal.

A portion of the concert's ticket sales and online donations will benefit Baltimore youth charities.

To hear the concert, head to Tidal's website tomorrow night.
