Prince Throwing 3-Night Bash At Paisley Park

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Prince is celebrating the arrival of his newest album in style, with a three-night party at Paisley Park in Chanhassen.

Prince announced on Twitter his plans to hold an "International Dance Party" over Labor Day weekend, beginning Friday.

Prince's forthcoming album, called "HITNRUN," will be released on Monday on Jay-Z's streaming music service Tidal.

The parties start each night this weekend at 9:30 p.m. and cover is $40. The flyer promises live music, food and an advance listening of, presumably, the new album.

Prince's tweet linked to an article about his producer Joshua Welton, during which he admits of working in Paisley Park, "I still can't believe I'm here."

The Star Tribune reports that only subscribers to Tidal (with a rate of $9.99 per month) will be able to hear his new album on Monday.
