Police Pursuit Ends In Uptown Squad Car Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A police squad car involved in a pursuit Tuesday morning was damaged in a crash in the Uptown neighborhood.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, the chase began in Hopkins and ended with a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hennepin Avenue and Lake Street.
Police said the van they were attempting to stop appeared to intentionally crash into another squad car. The driver then collided with a car that had an infant inside.
Police said the suspect fled on foot before being arrested.
No one was seriously injured in the incident.
