Police: No Arrests Following Fatal Shooting In North Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Minneapolis say they're looking for suspects after a man died early Sunday morning following a shooting on the north side.

The Minneapolis Police Department says a ShotSpotter picked up gunshots shortly after 2 a.m. near the 2100 block of North 4th Street.

When officers arrived to the scene, they found 35-year-old James Curtis Butts, of Minneapolis, suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers performed CPR on Butts and aided him until an ambulance arrived.

Emergency crews brought Butts to the Hennepin County Medical Center, where he later died.

Police say they canvassed the area of the shooting, adding that they're following up on leads. However, no one has yet been arrested.
