Police Investigate Gun-Related Death In Albert Lea
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Albert Lea police are investigating what led to a man's death inside a residence early Thursday morning.
At 1:02 a.m., police officers responded to a medical situation at a residence on the 1500 block of Academy Avenue. They found 28-year-old Cody Alan Baseman, who had suffered a gunshot wound.
Life-saving measures were unsuccessful, and Baseman died.
The death is being investigated. Police say there is no threat to public safety.
