Police: Boy, 4, Drowns In Eagan Indoor Pool
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An investigation is underway after a 4-year-old boy drowned in an indoor pool in Eagan Sunday evening.
According to Eagan police, authorities responded shortly after 6 p.m. to the report of a possible drowning at the Town Centre at Lexington apartments, located on 3470 Golfview Drive.
Life-saving measures were performed on the boy and he was taken to the Children's Hospital, where he died a short time later.
Police say other people were inside the pool area when the incident occurred.
The Dakota County Sheriff's Office is also helping in the investigation.
