Police: 3 Stabbed At St. Paul Apartment, Man In Custody
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities said three people suffered non-life threatening injuries and a man is in custody after a domestic dispute led to a triple stabbing in St. Paul early Tuesday morning.
St. Paul Police were called to a report of a fight between a man and a woman at about 12:15 a.m. at an apartment on the 400 block of Fry Street. When officers arrived, they discovered a woman ran out of the apartment to try and get away, and the dispute continued outside.
Police said three male neighbors who could hear the dispute came outside to help the woman, and they were all stabbed by the suspect. The men suffered minor stab wounds and are expected to be fine. The woman suffered minor injuries that police said were likely not stab wounds.
The suspect was taken into custody and evaluated at Regions Hospital before being transported to the Ramsey County Jail. The name of the suspect has not been released. What led up to the dispute is under investigation.
