Police: 1 In Custody After Downtown Minneapolis Stabbing
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person is in custody after a stabbing in downtown Minneapolis early Tuesday morning left one person injured, according to police.
Minneapolis Police were called to the Loring Towers Apartments at 15 East Grant Street at about 1 a.m. on a report of a stabbing. When authorities arrived, the incident had taken place on the ninth floor of the building.
Police said the suspect and the victim knew each other and got into an argument, leading to the suspect stabbing the victim in the stomach before fleeing the scene. The victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect turned himself into police.
