Police: 2 Dead, 1 Hospitalized In South Minneapolis Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say two people are dead and another is hospitalized after a shooting in south Minneapolis Sunday night.
The Minneapolis Police Department responded to a report of a shots fired at about 7:46 p.m. in the parking lot of an apartment building on the 2200 block of East Franklin Avenue. When officers arrived, two adult men had suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. Another adult male was shot and taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police say all three victims were found shot inside a vehicle. They have not been identified.
Police haven't released any information about a suspect, and the incident is under investigation.
