'Pippin' Has Got Magic To Do
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Leave your fields to flower, leave your cheese to sour. The Tony Award-winning musical "Pippin" is now playing at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Minneapolis.
The circus-inspired show won four Tonys in 2013, including Best Musical Revival. The original 1972 Broadway production was directed and choreographed by the legendary Bob Fosse.
John Rubenstein, the man who played Pippin in the original production, now plays Pippin's father in this new national touring show. He joined WCCO 4 News at Noon to talk about the production.
