State Patrol: Driver Killed In Head-On Crash In Pipestone Co.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One person is dead after a head-on crash early Saturday morning in Pipestone County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Highway 23.

A Chevy pickup truck heading northbound on the highway crossed the center line, colliding with a southbound Ford Mustang. The driver of the Mustang, 24-year-old Jordan Egge, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver, 21-year-old Zachary Boucher, and his passenger, 22-year-old Madorie Schroer-Dolezal, were taken to Pipestone Hospital with serious injuries.

The number of people involved in the crash and their identities have not been released. The state patrol is investigating.
