Pioneer Press Moving Offices To River Park Plaza

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Officials with the St. Paul Pioneer Press said Tuesday the company is moving from its downtown location to a new space in River Park Plaza.

Officials said the company will occupy one floor of the eight-story, 300,000 square foot facility that was built in 1988. It's located on 18 acres, fronting the Mississippi River across the Robert Street Bridge from downtown St. Paul.

Along with occupying one floor, the Pioneer Press will use additional space for a data center and various operations. Officials said the move will likely come either later this year or in the early portion of 2016.

The previous downtown St. Paul headquarters, which had been home to the paper since 1984, were sold to Stencil Group II. The sale became official June 12.
