Pet Blog: Chill Out By Pettin' A Puppy
For three hours on Thursday, the rat race that is downtown Minneapolis will be pleasantly interrupted by rescue dogs!
DogSense Unleashed and Safe Hands Rescue will bring more than a dozen dogs to Peavey Plaza to demonstrate the therapeutic strength in the simple act of petting a pooch.
The event, called "De-stressing The City With Puppy Power," was such a big hit last week at Peavey that they're bringing eight new puppies to lower the collective blood pressure of workers in the area.
The adorable activity runs from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. across from WCCO-TV on Nicollet Mall and 12th Street.
