Teen Shot In Downtown Minneapolis Sunday Dies
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One of the several people shot in downtown Minneapolis over the holiday weekend has died of his injuries.
According to Minneapolis police, 16-year-old Sabrae Monte McAlester was one of two people shot at 4th Street and Hennepin Avenue early Sunday morning.
Officers who responded to the scene saw a crowd of people running from the area and found the two victims.
Both were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. On Tuesday, police said McAlester died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head.
