Hudson High Teens Ace ACT Test
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two Hudson High School juniors share a title few will ever know.
They both mastered the ACT test, scoring a perfect 36.
That feat is achieved by less than one tenth of one percent of American students annually.
Brendan Bagley is the son of two engineers. He hopes to do the same job someday.
"I was pretty excited, but I was kind of expecting to get a 35, around there, so it wasn't that much of a surprise," Bagley said.
Parker Holum is the son of a biology teacher, and hopes to be a biomedical engineer or a doctor.
"First I was like amazed, it was unbelievable that I got it because I knew I did pretty well on it, but I didn't think I would've gotten a 36," Holum said. "The first thing I did actually was go down to my mom's room and tell her that I got it because she works here!"
Holum says his dad took him to Chipotle to celebrate, and let him add guacamole to his burrito.
He is going to visit Yale, Princeton and Stanford. Bagley is hoping to go to the University of Minnesota or the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
