Pedestrian Hit, Killed In Burnsville

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A pedestrian was struck by a car and killed in Burnsville late Tuesday night.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, just before midnight 46-year-old Todd E. Poeuk, of Savage, was driving southbound on Highway 13 near Washburn Avenue.
Poeuk was driving in the left lane when he struck 50-year-old Paul R. Dmitruk, of Richfield, who was in the left lane on foot.
Dmitruk died as a result of the collision. Poeuk suffered no injuries.
State patrol did not say why Dmitruk was in the road. The incident is currently under investigation.
The medical examiner said that Dmitruk died of multiple blunt force injuries.
