Patrol: Woman, 25, Dies In Crash On Icy Highway 169
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 25-year-old Minnesota woman died Saturday night after losing control of her car on an icy road and colliding with an SUV and a pickup truck.
The State Patrol said the crash happened just after 7 p.m. on Highway 169 in Itasca County. Kassandra Keske, of Marble, was driving a Ford Taurus south on the highway near her home when she lost control.
The Taurus crossed into the highway's northbound lane and was broadsided by a Hyundai Santa Fe and a Ford F150 pickup truck.
Keske was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The Hyundai's driver, 25-year-old Nathan Hoffman of Ballwin, Missouri, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The pickup's driver, a 16-year-old from Bovey, wasn't hurt.
