MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – At least one person died Sunday afternoon in a rollover crash on Highway 169 in Mille Lacs County.

The State Patrol says the crash happened at about 2:32 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 11, just north of Milaca. The crash involved two vehicles and five people, authorities said.

When officers arrived, a 2010 Chevy Equinox was heading eastbound on County Road 11 and attempting to cross Highway 169. A 2012 Ford Fusion was heading southbound on Highway 169 when it hit the driver's side of the Equinox, causing it to roll over and land on its wheels in the median.

The State Patrol says three people in the Ford Fusion, two 19-year-olds from Andover and a 78-year-old from Coon Rapids, were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
