Pandemic Can't Scare Away Anoka's 100th Annual Halloween Festival

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The self-proclaimed "Halloween Capital of the World" will scare up its famous celebrations next month, with some changes.

Anoka plans to celebrate its 100th Halloween Festival in October. Both the Grand Day Parade and House Decoration Contest will be drive-by events. The kid's parade and bingo will be held online.

Other big events, like outdoor movies and the scavenger hunt, will be reworked to allow for social distancing.
