Overturned Semi Blocks Southbound I-35 In Shoreview
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation says that an overturned semi truck was blocking traffic on Interstate 35W near Shoreview, Minn. Monday and afternoon.
The semi was blocking the southbound lanes at Highway 10.
Lt. Eric Roeske, with the Minnesota State Patrol, said the semi spilled auto parts all over the highway. Around noon, MnDOT said the road would be reduced to one lane until 4 p.m.
Roeske said no one was injured in the accident.
MnDOT cameras showed traffic being diverted off the main road. Drivers are cautioned to use alternate routes.
It was not immediately clear what caused the accident.
