Officials ID Construction Worker Killed In Fall

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials have identified the construction worker who died Friday morning after falling from the roof of a work site in Jordan.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said 69-year-old John Dickerman, of Mankato, died of multiple blunt force injuries about a half hour after falling 30 feet onto a concrete slab.

His manner of death was listed as an accident.

The Accu-Rite Powder Coating and Surface Prep construction site was located at 320 Ervin Industrial Drive.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is inspecting the site for any safety deficiencies.

The Jordan Police Department is also investigating Dickerman's death.
