St. Cloud Woman Arrested In Man's Fentanyl Death

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A St. Cloud woman was arrested Thursday in the opioid overdose death of a 33-year-old man last month.

Police say Amy Wanda Lauer, 35, may face third-degree murder and third-degree sale of a controlled substance charges.

Lauer is believed to have illegally supplied Ryan Stirling Boen with fentanyl, resulting in his overdose on April 20 in St. Cloud.

Minnesota music legend Prince died from an overdose of the same drug just one day after Boen.
