No One Injured In Overnight Plymouth Apartment Fire
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Firefighters in Plymouth were able to quickly put out a fire inside an apartment early Wednesday morning.
According to Plymouth fire officials, just after 3 a.m. crews responded to a call of an apartment fire in the 2500 block of Lancaster Lane.
Upon arrival, crews were able to determine the fire was contained to one unit.
Crews were able to quickly distinguish the fire, which was determined to have started in the "sleeping area" of the studio apartment.
According to officials, no one was home in the apartment.
Plymouth fire officials said the fire appeared to be accidental. There was no damage to the apartment building; however the unit will need to be gutted and redone.
No one was injured.
