Next Weather: Lovely Friday, before extreme heat returns for Father's Day
MINNEAPOLIS -- Fathers, and everyone else for that matter, should really take it easy this Father's Day.
Sunday and Monday will both be Next Weather Alert days as extreme heat and humidity make a return. Heat indices will be close to 105, and could climb even higher.
Friday, however, looks great. It will be sunny, and not as windy, with a high of 85 in the Twin Cities. We start to warm up Saturday, but humidity will still be tolerable.
Things will cool off slightly by the middle of next week, but it will still be hot.
