NEXT Weather: Toasty Wednesday, with hazy skies from Canadian wildfires

MINNEAPOLIS -- We will bake with a high near 90 Wednesday, and it will be dry and toasty again on Thursday -- but dew points will be in the comfortable range.

Smoke from Canadian wildfires is expected to make the skies hazier over the next 48 hours. Air quality alerts due to the smoke, and ground-level ozone, are in effect across Minnesota through early Thursday.

Friday brings a chance of some badly-needed rain, which wouldn't arrive until late, and will likely persist into Saturday.

Looking ahead to Father's Day, the forecast at this point is warm, with cloudy skies and a possible passing shower.
