Next Weather: Cooler Thursday, rainy Friday for some
MINNEAPOLIS – Thursday will be slightly cooler and less humid, with a high of 83 in the Twin Cities. Rain showers are possible across southwestern and south-central Minnesota, but nothing severe is expected.
We will get a chance of rain in the metro Friday, which will cool down into the mid-70s. Severe weather is not expected, and the rain is setting up as a narrow band that will bring a nice soaking for some, and dry conditions for others.
It will be humid Friday and through the weekend. We should be dry Saturday and Sunday with above-average highs in the mid-80s.
The Perseids Meteor Showers will peak Thursday, and especially Friday, but they will be tough to see due to the full moon.
