NEXT Weather: Snowy Friday morning in southern Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS –  More light snow will move into southern Minnesota overnight Friday.

There could be times of light freezing drizzle, but the dominant precipitation type will be snow. 

Expect more snow along the Interstate 90 corridor, where around 4 inches could fall.

The Twin Cities will only get a dusting. The rest of Friday will be dry, with highs in the 30s.

The metro could see some flurries and drizzle at times on Saturday, as temperatures warm to the mid 30s. 

We dry out Sunday through Monday with similar highs – but we'll be dealing with a big storm between Tuesday and Thursday. It will be windy and warm – in the mid 30s – and we'll see rain and snow.
