NEXT Weather: Sunny, seasonable Super Bowl Sunday
MINNEAPOLIS — A sunny, fairly seasonable Sunday is on tap for the Twin Cities.
Expect sunshine throughout the day and highs near 40.
Northern Minnesota will see clouds and some snow showers early on, but it won't be anything particularly impactful. Temperatures will be in the 20s and 30s in that region.
It will be quiet the next two days with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s — 10-12 degrees above average.
The next chance for precipitation is on Wednesday. There could be a light mix early with a change from rain to snow later at night. The bulk of the precipitation will fall over southern Minnesota. There could be some light accumulation.
Things quiet down again Thursday into the weekend. It will trend cooler with highs in the 30s and 20s into the weekend.
