NEXT Weather: After Tuesday's record heat, Wednesday brings big cooldown
MINNEAPOLIS – Big changes are coming to Minnesota in the next 24 hours.
Tuesday's high temperature in the Twin Cities reached 92 degrees -- but Wednesday's high will be more than 20-degrees cooler.
The dew point will drop, winds will pick up speed, and the high will only reach about 67 in the metro.
It gets even cooler Thursday and Friday. Highs on Friday likely won't make it out of the 50s. There will also be rain, but no storms are expected. It looks like it will be another rainy day for high school football games.
This weekend looks dry with temps near average.
