NEXT Weather: Sunny skies and 70s makes for a #Top10WxDay Monday
MINNEAPOLIS -- Mother's Day started off rainy before clearing up, and even nicer weather is on the way Monday.
Meanwhile, parts of southern Minnesota have already gotten as much as 6 inches of rain since Saturday.
After a soggy weekend, things will change.
Monday will offer up a #Top10WxDay, with a high of 76 in the Twin Cities and sunny skies expected.
Tuesday and Wednesday will also be warm and mostly sunny. More rain is possible later in the week.
Southern Minnesota flooding
Southern Minnesota got slammed with heavy rain over the weekend. Some places saw 2 to 4 inches Wednesday into Thursday, and some got another 3 to 4 inches over the weekend.
In the last five days, some places in southern Minnesota got 3 to 7 inches of rain.
