Next Weather: Hot and windy Wednesday, storms possible Thursday
MINNEAPOLIS -- It will be hot Wednesday, with another shot at 90 degrees, and the wind will get stronger as the day progresses.
There is a wind advisory for southwestern Minnesota, with winds gusts over 45 mph possible.
Storms are possible in western and northern parts of the state late Wednesday. It is a marginal risk with hail and wind the primary concerns.
That front sags south Thursday and brings the marginal risk of storms over the metro. The high temp will be 88.
The long weekend looks pleasant, with the next best chance of rain arriving late Sunday.
On Monday for the Fourth of July, there are threats of isolated storms early in the day, but it doesn't look like a washout.
