NEXT Weather: Say goodbye to more snow Wednesday

MINNEAPOLIS — Our March in February rolls on with temperatures warming to the 40s the next few days.

Expect ample sunshine Wednesday to help melt any of that lingering snow that fell on Valentine's Day. The day's high temp will be 45 degrees in the Twin Cities.

We cool slightly on Friday with highs in the 30s, then the heat is on. This weekend we should warm to the upper 40s. Early next week we should hit the 50s.

Our next shot of precipitation arrives next Tuesday and is likely in the form of rain.

This will be the warmest winter on record.
