NEXT Weather: Beautiful Tuesday followed by return to 90s, possible severe storms
MINNEAPOLIS -- Monday's showers are slowly clearing out, and we'll soon dry out and begin to warm.
The day's high only hit 70 in the Twin Cities, which is 11 degrees below average for this time of year.
Tuesday will be nice, with a near-average high of 83 degrees in the metro and plenty of sunshine.

Wednesday will be a complex weather day. Highs will approach 90 degrees, dew points will rise into the upper 60s, wind speeds will top out at 25 mph from the southwest, clouds will increase, and storms will likely roll into the metro by late afternoon and early evening.

This system could look much like last Friday, with threats of hail and dangerous wind. The metro is at a slight risk for storms, with 2 out of 5 on the threat scale.
