NEXT Weather: More wind Tuesday, with widespread fire danger
MINNEAPOLIS – Another windy day is on tap, with temperatures finally beginning to warm up to near average.
Tuesday's high will reach 60 degrees in the Twin Cities, with a mostly cloudy sky. With sustained wind speeds of 30-plus mph, much of Minnesota -- including the metro -- will be in under a fire weather watch. A red flag warning is still in effect in northwestern Minnesota.
The wind will settle down a bit Wednesday, which will be a #Top10WxDay. It will be a sunny one, with highs in the mid-to-upper 60s.
It will get even warmer on Thursday, but there will be a chance of sprinkles late in the day. The metro should hit 70.
Spotty showers are possible again on Friday and Sunday. It gets windy again, too. Temps will warm to the upper 60s. There may also be a few rumbles of thunder on Sunday.
