MINNEAPOLIS --  Temperatures will remain below average this week, with several of rounds of precipitation in store.

Tuesday's high temperature in the Twin Cities will be 37, with a mostly cloudy sky. Parts of northern Minnesota will pick up 1-2 inches of snow. 

Wednesday will feature some chilly sunshine, with highs only making it into the upper-20s.

Rain will reign for much of Thursday, which will have a high of 39 in the metro. It will transition into snow late into Friday. The snow could accumulate overnight in the metro. It will also be windy both days.

Rain will also transition into snow Saturday morning.
