A cold front is moving through that could leave behind about an inch of snow. Northwestern Minnesota is under a winter weather advisory until 6 p.m. on Saturday, and could see up to four inches of snow.
The snow wraps on Saturday night, and the roads will be icy.
Afterwards, the wind will pick up with gusts up to 40 mph. In southwestern Minnesota — an area that's under a wind advisory until 6 p.m. — gusts could reach up to 50 mph.
Temperatures on Saturday will hold around the mid-30s with wind chills in the 20s.
Then the dry pattern returns with a mix of sun and clouds on Sunday. Then the warmth will return into the 40s by the end of next week.
