NEXT Weather: Widespread frost possible Tuesday, Wednesday mornings
MINNEAPOLIS – We could see widespread frost the next few mornings as temperatures slip to the 30s.
Temperatures will drop to the lower 30s overnight Tuesday in northern Minnesota, making patchy frost possible. Central and southern Minnesota will see temperatures fall to the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Tuesday will be sunny with a high of 60 degrees, which is 9-degrees cooler than average.
More patchy frost will be possible early Wednesday morning. As the day rolls on it will be slightly warmer than Tuesday and mostly sunny.
We stay dry for the next several days with high pressure in command. The wind backs off for a few days, and temps warm by Thursday.
By Friday we could warm to the 70s, and that warmth should stick around into the weekend. We stay dry until Monday.
